Questions Before You Sail

How many people can join a charter? +

Depending on the vessel, charters accommodate between 6 and 12 guests comfortably. For multi-day voyages, berth space is the limiting factor. When you enquire, let us know your group size and we'll confirm the right vessel.

Is sailing experience required? +

Not at all. Every charter includes a full crew, so guests are entirely free to relax, explore, or observe as much or as little as they like. The helm is in capable hands at all times.

What's the best time of year to sail in Phuket? +

November through April brings calm seas, steady northeast winds, and excellent visibility — the peak season for Andaman sailing. The shoulder months of October and May can also work well for shorter coastal trips, though conditions should be checked closer to the date.

What does the listed price cover? +

Half-day and full-day charters include the vessel, crew, snacks or meals, and listed water equipment. Multi-day voyages add park entry permits, fuel, and all provisions. Personal travel insurance and flights to Phuket are outside the scope of the charter fee.

How far in advance should I book? +

For peak season (December to March), three to four weeks ahead is a comfortable lead time, especially for longer voyages. Half-day and full-day trips can sometimes be arranged with a week's notice if the schedule allows. Reaching out early gives the most flexibility for dates.

What happens if weather conditions change? +

Safety takes priority over schedule. If conditions at departure look unsuitable, the crew will discuss rescheduling or a modified route. Decisions are made in consultation with guests and are based on marine weather data, not guesswork.
